Temple Law School offers both full-time and part-time programs leading to the completion of the Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Admissions, curriculum, faculty, examinations, and all other standards for the J.D. program are the same for both the day and evening divisions.

Temple Law has a highly competitive admission process designed to look at the whole person. The Admissions Committee takes seriously its responsibility to carefully and individually evaluate each application and is committed to admitting the very best from our pool of talented applicants. Applicants admitted to Temple Law School know they were chosen because their skills, abilities, achievements, and potential earned them the opportunity.

The Admissions Committee reviews applications through our discretionary admissions process, Sp.A.C.E. Through this process, the Admissions Committee maintains our historical commitment to diversity and our mission of offering opportunities to students who might otherwise be foreclosed from pursuing a high quality legal education by carefully selecting applicants who have outstanding performance records and exceptional aptitudes for the study of law that are not necessarily reflected by grades and standardized test scores alone.

Applicants are encouraged to apply electronically through LSAC or may download a paper application for admission and send it through the mail. Admissions decisions are made from December to May, and whenever possible, files are reviewed as they are completed.

We invite you to explore our website for more information on the application procedure, financial aid opportunities, the J.D. curriculum and programs and our outstanding faculty.
