Public Interest/Public Service (PI/PS) Fair

The Public Interest/Public Service Career Fair (PI/PS) is an annual career fair sponsored by The Consortium of Greater Philadelphia Area Law Schools and coordinated by Temple Law School and Villanova Law School. The PI/PS Fair brings together regional and national employers with students from Philadelphia’s seven area law schools. Public sector employers use the PI/PS Career Fair to meet students interested in pursuing summer or permanent employment with government agencies and public interest organizations. The PIPS Job Fair is typically held virtually in early February.

Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair

Each October, over 1000 law students, employers, and law school professionals gather virtually for the largest public interest and public service job fair in the nation. Coordinated by Equal Justice Works, a national organization dedicated to mobilizing the next generation of lawyers committed to equal access to justice, the conference and career fair provides an invaluable opportunity to interview with prospective employers for summer and post-graduate jobs; attend sessions about job searching, post-graduate fellowships, leadership, and post-graduate debt relief; and meet other students and professionals interested in public interest and public service.

Temple students participate in this event each year, and many have secured summer and post-graduate work as a result. Students apply for interviews directly with the employers through Equal Justice Works’ registration database, and the employers select students for interviews. Students who are not selected for interviews are encouraged to attend the conference and career fair to network and meet with employers.
