Temple students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, each with their own unique experiences and qualifications. Accordingly, Career Services counselors are available to schedule one-on-one counseling sessions with students. By meeting regularly, your career counselor will better understand your career objectives, challenges, and successes. The better we know you, better we can support your personal career development.
Counselors are available to work with students throughout your law school career to examine your career goals, review job search strategy, discuss ways to transfer skills and knowledge obtained through prior work experience into the practice of law, help develop outstanding interviewing skills, review and revise resumes and cover letters, provide support and encouragement, and otherwise help to chart a career course and obtain employment
We strongly encourage every student meet with a career counselor by scheduling an appointment through the CPM.
Office Hours
Counselors are available between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Evening appointments are welcomed, but must be scheduled in advance. Schedule an appointment through the CPM appointment module. (The deadline to schedule is midnight the night before your meeting.)
If you would like to meet with a counselor and you are unable to find an available time slot, please feel free to email that person directly or email the Office of Career Services at lcareer@temple.edu
For quick questions, look in the CPM appointment module for “10 Minute Quick question – no appointment needed” blocks. Counselors will be available in a Zoom room for a 10-minute chat at various times during the week.
And you can also always reach us by phone (215-204-8806) and email (lcareer@temple.edu), weekdays from 9am – 5pm.
