Eleanor Bradley Huyett is an Assistant Professor at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, specializing in legal writing, consumer law, and compliance.
Prior to joining Temple, Professor Huyett spent more than eleven years practicing law as a compliance attorney and complex litigator. Most recently, she worked at Comcast Corporation here in Philadelphia, where she led Comcast Cable’s consumer protection and anti-corruption compliance programs. In that role, she provided strategic legal advice and counseling on consumer-facing issues, including credit, collections, identity verification and authentication, and telephone and email compliance. Before her time at Comcast, Professor Huyett worked as an enforcement attorney at FINRA, where she investigated potential misconduct by companies and individuals in the securities industry, and a litigation associate at Ballard Spahr LLP. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Franklin S. Van Antwerpen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Since 2023, Professor Huyett has brought her experience practicing law to the classroom as an adjunct faculty member at Temple Law, where she has taught both Introduction to Transactional Skills and Interviewing, Negotiating, and Counseling.
Professor Huyett graduated summa cum laude from Temple Law in 2014. She met her husband, Pat, also a Temple Law grad, while serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the Temple Law Review. Professor Huyett received her B.B.A. in Accountancy, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and worked as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP before law school.
