Graduation Requirements
- Coursework completed within four years of initial enrollment
- 24 credits
- GPA of 2.0 or higher (for those taking all courses on a graded basis)*
- Satisfaction of writing requirement
*LL.M. students have the option of taking all courses on a pass-fail basis, in which case they must pass each course in order to graduate. Once students choose pass-fail for that semester, the decision cannot be changed for the remainder of that semester or any point afterward.
Required Courses
- Introduction to the U.S. Legal System (3 credits)
- Legal Research and Writing I (3 credits)
Other Requirements
- A second writing course (either Legal Research & Writing II or a writing seminar) (2-3 credits)
- At least one first-year substantive J.D. course (Contracts, Civil Procedure I, Criminal Law, Torts, Property, or Constitutional Law) (3-4 credits
