Grading Scale – Temple Law

Credit hours are based on 50-minute class hours. One credit hour is given for attending fifty minutes of class per week for one semester of the regular academic year. The grade point credit received for a course is determined by multiplying the grade point value for the grade received by the number of credit hours assigned to the course.

J.D. Evening & Part-Time Day Division – Temple Law

To meet the needs of part-time evening students, many administrative offices offer evening hours by appointment. The Office of Career Services frequently offers programs for students at 5:00 p.m. to accommodate both day and evening students. The Law Library is open evenings and weekends, however, all law school buildings are closed at 11:00 p.m.

LL.M. in Taxation – Temple Law

For each additional credit a student earns beyond the minimum number of credits for a J.D. degree, the student can apply one more credit from eligible tax courses toward an LL.M. up to a maximum of 12 credits.
