The Temple University Beasley School of Law Trial Team advanced to the final four in the 2014 Puerto Rico Trial Advocacy Competition, besting teams from American and Fordham to make it to the semi-final round. Team members Stephanie Lutz (LAW ’15), Charmane Martin (LAW ’15), Tiffany Sykes (LAW ’16), and Noel Walton (LAW ’15) excelled against a competitive field that included teams from Catholic, Drexel, Harvard, Inter-American, Sturm, and Yale law schools.
Charmane Martin was recognized for receiving perfect scores and was awarded
the 2014 Best Closing Award for the competition.
The team was coached by Professor Jennifer Bretschneider and Professor
Barbara Ashcroft with assistance by Maureen McCartney.
