Books supports the Law School’s strategic and executive communications. Books drafts website and newsroom content, event-related content, remarks and presentations for the dean, alumni and development-related messaging, social media content, and related external messaging. Books also provides proof-reading and editorial support for various Temple Law-related publications, places media inquiries with appropriate faculty, and serves on the Law School’s DEIB Working Group.
Books is an inaugural member of the Montgomery County Commissioners’ Advisory Council on LGBTQIA+ Affairs and a member of the Philadelphia, American, and National LGBTQ+ Bar Associations.
Prior to working at the Beasley School of Law Books was an attorney at what is now known as the Jerner Law Group, PC, focusing on family law and LGBTQ+ advocacy.
Books has earned a Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law, a Master of Liberal Arts from Temple University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from Temple University.
