‘Bad’ Forensic Evidence and Teaching Expert Witness Law and Practice – May 25, 2022

Temple University Beasley School of Law hosted its sixth free online advocacy training conference on Wednesday, May 25 from 6:00-8:00 PM (EST).  The topics were forensic evidence and teaching expert witness law and practice.

Hour 1: Chris Fabricant, Director of Strategic Litigation for the Innocence Project and author of the new book JUNK SCIENCE, talks about the book,  cases he has litigated, and how to challenge junk science in the courtroom.

Hour 2: Hour Two features advocacy colleagues from across the country who lecture, teach expert evidence and scientific evidence courses, and publish about expert witnesses.  Each presenter shares information and ideas about teaching expert witnesses and evidence.  

The presenters, in order, are ​Annie Deets, Keith Morgan, Dick Kolb, Meredith Ann Schnug, A.J. Bellido de Luna, Jared Hatcliffe, and Judge Matthew Williams.
