Course Description. Insurance Law is designed to introduce students to the basic principles governing the creation, sale and enforcement of the most common forms of insurance in the U.S. Students will be introduced to the following insurance lines: personal liability, professional liability, commercial general liability, homeowners, automobile, life and casualty and health.

For Fall 2020, this course will meet online. Some class meetings will be taught online M 4-5:50 pm, other class meetings will be taught in a traditional classroom setting M 4-5:50 pm. The setting will change from week to week depending upon the topic and speakers.
