The Temple-Tsinghua Beijing Master of Laws (LLM) program welcomed its incoming class on August 1st with an opening day celebration. This year’s class, the 16th in program history, has 46 students, including judges, government officials, law professors, and lawyers with domestic and international law firms.

The students are embarking on Introduction to the U.S. Legal System, an intensive four-week program with content on legal reasoning, law school skills, case briefing, and Legal English to prepare them for their doctrinal courses in the fall.

The Temple-Tsinghua LLM program is the only program of its type, with nearly 700 students past and present. Offered in collaboration with Tsinghua University School of Law, the program is grounded in U.S. and international law, enabling students to succeed in global legal practice.
