The Beijing LL.M. program marked the opening
ceremony for its 14th class, the largest ever admitted. Temple
Professor John Smagula and Tsinghua Professor Li Hong hosted the
event.
A distinguished panel of public and private sector officials
addressed the students, praising the Temple-Tsinghua program,
encouraging the students in their studies, and sharing stories of
program alumni who have been promoted in their fields.
With nearly 50 students, this class is the largest in the
program’s history. The students begin the program with a one-month
intensive Legal English program, taking courses in the American
Legal System, Case Briefing, Law School Skills, and Listening &
