Book Panel Celebrates Launch of Professor Hollis’ Oxford Guide to Treaties

November 8, 2012 – Temple Law celebrated the
launch of Professor Duncan Hollis’ most recent book, The Oxford
Guide to Treaties, with a panel featuring Professor Hollis and book
contributors Christopher Borgen from St. John’s University School
of Law and Edward Swaine from George Washington School of Law.
Following an introduction by Professor Hollis that traced the
development of treaty law from the time of Deuteronomy to the
present, Dean Borgen spoke briefly about treaty conflicts and
Professor Swaine about treaty reservations.  The panel was
followed later in the week by an
online symposium about the book hosted by the popular
international law blog Opinio Juris.
