There are now 146 more Temple Lawyers in Pennsylvania than there were just a short time ago, 137 of them passing the July 2017 bar exam on their first attempt.
In announcing the results to the Temple Law faculty, Dean Greg Mandel noted that, “as has been the case for the past several years, Temple produced more successful candidates than any other law school.”
Dean Mandel also remarked on the 84.6% pass rate for first time test takers, the highest first-time pass rate since 2013 and once again well above the state average.
“I’m very pleased with these results and very proud of our new Temple Lawyers,” Mandel said. “As we always do, we will take a close look at the data behind these numbers to see how we can ensure that our graduates are well-prepared to succeed on the bar exam.”
The Temple Law Alumni Association will host a swearing-in ceremony for successful Temple graduates on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in Courtroom 653 of City Hall. Temple faculty and alumni will be present to congratulate the new lawyers and welcome them to the Pennsylvania bar.
