Maddie Distasio is the Associate Director of Admissions.
As a member of the Admissions and Financial Aid team, Maddie helps recruit, advise, and evaluate JD applicants through the prospective student, active applicant, and admitted student phases of their application journey.
Maddie is a visual artist, musician, and fiction writer.
Prior to working at the Beasley School of Law Maddie was a managing editor for an online publication and a freelance journalist writing in the areas of pop culture’s intersection with social justice and US foreign aid policy. During law school, she focused on criminal justice and tended to pursue coursework and experiential opportunities based in legal research and writing. After law school, she clerked for Judge Lucretia Clemons in the First Judicial District, a role based primarily on research and writing.
Maddie has earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Susquehanna University, a Graduate Certificate in Fashion Journalism from the London College of Fashion, and a Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law
