Jennifer Karpchuk is a Shareholder with Chamberlain Hrdlicka and is Chair of the firm’s State and Local Tax practice. She has over a decade of experience in representing companies and individuals in various matters related to state and local taxation. Ms. Karpchuk has extensive experience handling state and local tax matters, including those related to: corporate income taxes, franchise taxes, gross receipts taxes, excise taxes, personal income taxes, sales and use taxes, business privilege taxes, and real estate taxes.
Ms. Karpchuk serves in a number of leadership roles. She is the current Secretary-Treasurer of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Tax Section, as well as Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Tax Section. Ms. Karpchuk is also past Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s State and Local Tax Committee, as well as an appointed member of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Tax Council. Ms. Karpchuk is part of the American Bar Association’s State and Local Tax Committee’s Executive Committee, serving as Co-Chair of the Sales and Use Tax Subcommittee and Miscellaneous Taxes Subcommittee. She is a frequent speaker and author.
Ms. Karpchuk received a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Delaware, cum laude.
