Feb. 25: Interdisciplinary Approaches to the Global Challenges of Urbanization and Migration

This Thursday, Feb. 25, IILPP Co-Director Jaya Ramji-Nogales will participate in a workshop at Perry World House at the University of Pennsylvania titled “Interdisciplinary Approaches to the Global Challenges of Urbanization and Migration” at Claudia Cohen Hall, G14 (Terrace Room).

Professor Ramji-Nogales will be featured in the panel “Gender-based Approaches to Urbanization & Migration,” at 2:30 pm. Other panelists include Janice Madden, Professor of Regional Science, Sociology, Urban Studies, and Real Estate, University of Pennsylvania, and Anne Teitelman, Endowed Term Chair in Global Women’s Health Associate Professor of Nursing, Penn Nursing. The panel will be moderated by Nancy Hirschmann, Professor of Political Science, Director of the Program on Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies, and Director of the Alice Paul Center for Research on Gender, Sexuality and Women, University of Pennsylvania.
