On Monday, October 28, the Career Services Office and the American Bar Association hosted “Top 10 Reasons to be a Privacy Attorney,” a panel discussion with leading privacy and consumer protection professionals. Law students were able to learn more about potential career paths in the private bar and government agencies, day-to-day practice and the opportunities and challenges in this dynamic and rapidly expanding area of law. The panel included Jasmeet K. Ahuja, Former Senior Associate, Hogan Lovells; Phyllis H. Marcus, Partner, Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP; Jon Smollen, Professor of Law, Executive Director, Center for Compliance and Ethics; and it was moderated by 3L Michelle Tolodziecki.
