Step 1:
Check the law school calendar for conflicts and availability
Visit the law school calendar to see what other events are happening at the law school and to identify possible dates for your event.
Step 2:
Add your event and reserve a room
Room requests are made by adding events to the law school calendar using one of the methods below. Law school events not being held at the law school should also be added to the calendar.
You will receive an email when a room has been assigned for your event. Please allow up to three business days for a room to be assigned.
Departments, Centers, and Student Organizations
Law school departments, centers, and student organizations have direct access to the the law school’s calendar management system (LiveWhale), and should add all events there.
If you regularly organize events for your department, center, or organization and do not yet have a LiveWhale account, please request access.
Individual Faculty, Staff, and 3rd Parties
Room requests for private meetings and other individual events being held at the law school can be made through the Ad Hoc Event and Room Request Form.
Step 3:
Coordinate food orders and setup
If you will need to order food, tables, chairs, linens or ancillary spaces for your event, contact a member of the special events team at least 3 weeks before your event:
