{"id":1480,"date":"2016-03-30T11:46:34","date_gmt":"2016-03-30T15:46:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www2.law.temple.edu\/iilpp\/?p=740"},"modified":"2016-03-30T11:46:34","modified_gmt":"2016-03-30T15:46:34","slug":"refugee-simulation-held-national-constitution-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/law.temple.edu\/iilpp\/2016\/03\/30\/refugee-simulation-held-national-constitution-center\/","title":{"rendered":"Refugee Simulation held at National Constitution Center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.law.temple.edu\/iilpp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Auditorium-1.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-741\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-741\" src=\"http:\/\/www2.law.temple.edu\/iilpp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Auditorium-1.jpg\" alt=\"Auditorium-1\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On March 25, Institute Co-Director Jaya Ramji-Nogales and Temple Law student Lilah Thompson (2L) hosted\u00a0&#8220;Between Borders: A Refugee Simulation&#8221; at the National Constitution Center.\u00a0More than\u00a050 individuals\u00a0participated in a workshop that simulates the life of a refugee throughout all stages of the refugee process from life in a refugee camp to resettlement in the United States.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.law.temple.edu\/iilpp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Filing-Paperwork-6.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-744\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-744\" src=\"http:\/\/www2.law.temple.edu\/iilpp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Filing-Paperwork-6-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Filing-Paperwork-6\" width=\"250\" height=\"167\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"alignnone\">Each participant received a refugee identity and spent time in a refugee camp in either Jordan or Cote d&#8217;Ivoire.
