He is also a Professor in Temple\u2019s School of Public Health.<\/p>\n<p>Burris began his career in public health law during the early days of the HIV\/AIDS epidemic. He was the editor of the first systematic legal analysis of HIV in the United States, AIDS and the Law: A Guide for the Public (Yale University Press, 1987; <a href=\"http:\/\/yalepress.yale.edu\/yupbooks\/book.asp?isbn=9780300055122\">New Guide for the Public<\/a> published 1993), and spent several years lobbying and litigating on behalf of people with HIV as an attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union. Since joining the Temple faculty in 1991, his research has focused on how law influences public health and health behavior. Reinstein Chair in law. Amy\u2019s research focuses on two areas of sociolegal scholarship\u2014informal justice, including among people building alternatives to the criminal legal system, and law and economic development, including the law and political economy of agriculture and food. Before joining Temple, she was the John C. Elam\/Vorys Sater Professor of Law at The Ohio State University and Professor of Law at UNSW Sydney, where she remains involved in collaborative research projects as an honorary professor.<\/p>\n<p>Amy has taught a range of classes including property law, family law, mediation, negotiation, international dispute resolution, law and development, food law, and experimentalist legal theory. She has held visiting professorships at Harvard Law School, Osgoode Hall Law School, the University of Turin Faculty of Law, and the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. She has also held fellowships from the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University, the American Institute of Indian Studies at the University of Chicago, the Fulbright Program, and the Collegio Carlo Alberto. She used several of these fellowships to develop a multi-year project on smallholder farmers and economic justice in India. Little serves as the James G. Schmidt Chair in Law and Senior Advisor to the Dean. She specializes in federal courts, conflict of laws, and constitutional law. She teaches, lectures, and consults internationally on these subjects and is routinely engaged for training judges as well as for speeches at academic and judicial conferences. She is the author of numerous books and articles, including a sole-authored casebook, Conflict of Laws (2d ed. Beasley Professor of Law                            <\/span>\r\n                                                <\/div>\r\n                                    <\/div>\r\n                <div class=\"group-member__bio\">\r\n                                        <p>Professor Zhang specializes in conflict of laws, international commercial transactions, contract law, Chinese Law and comparative law. A former Fulbright scholar and faculty member at China University of Politics and Law, Professor Zhang joined Temple in May 1998 after several years of legal practice in the United States. He served as the Director of the Temple University Rule of Law Program in China from 1998 to 2011, which includes the first foreign LL.M. degree-granting program in China. Professor Zhang has authored two books on Chinese law, and has published numerous articles in both English and Chinese law journals.
