About the Event
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will hear arguments at Temple Law School on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The Federal Circuit is an Article III court with jurisdiction over numerous areas of federal law, including patent law, international trade law, government contracts, veterans benefits, and more. This is a wonderful opportunity for those interested in patent law, intellectual property, the intersection of law and tech, or appellate litigation.
The panel will hear the following cases:
- 21-2085 PTO Uniloc 2017 LLC. v. Netflix, Inc.
- 22-1033 DCT Blazer v. Best Bee Brothers LLC
- 22-1161 CIT Acquisition 362, LLC v. US
- 22-1277 CFC Behrens v. US
Additionally, 22-1752 CAVC McCormick v. McDonough will be decided on the briefs.
Each case argument will be approximately 30 minutes and it is recommended that you do not leave the room during a hearing. Please wear business-appropriate attire. The court will be following its current protocol while in Philadelphia which requires masks to be worn inside the courtrooms. Masks must be N-95, KN-95, or KF-94.
