The 14th Free Online Advocacy Conference will feature advocacy experts and trainers from outside the academic community for best practices in teaching and courtroom persuasion. This includes British barristers who will explain the six-step Hampel method of advocacy training – a best practice adopted by the Bar of England and Wales. Temple University Beasley School of Law will provide two free substantive CLE credits for this two-hour event featuring three presentations.

6:00 – 6:30 PM – British barristers and advocacy educators Rehana Azib (Kings Counsel) and Bibi Badejo (Governing Bencher of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple) will demonstrate the six-stage advocacy teaching method devised by Professor George Hampel KC of the Australi You can learn more about the Hampel method at https://www.icca.ac.uk/post-qualification-training/cpd/advocacy-training/the-hampel-method/ (‘The Hampel Method’). That method will be used in an American Inns of Court training to be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in October.
6:30 – 7:00 PM – Veronica Finkelstein will discuss and demonstrate the latest in NITA teaching methods.
