Temple’s U.S. Law & Culture Summer Immersion Program in Philadelphia is an exciting two-week curriculum designed for international law students or recent non-U.S. law graduates who are eager to deepen their understanding of American legal education and culture. This immersive program combines essential legal studies with cultural experiences, providing insights into the American legal system while allowing students to explore life in the U.S.

• Insight into Temple Law’s LL.M. for Foreign-Trained Lawyers or LL.M. Exchange Program.
  • Note: This program is not a language pathway to Temple Law’s LL.M.

Key Program Activities

Visits to Judicial Institutions: Explore the National Constitution Center and Federal Courthouse to gain firsthand insight into how the American judiciary operates.

Culinary Experiences: Enjoy unique food adventures in America’s Culinary Capital, sampling famous Philly cheesesteaks and diverse international cuisines.

Excursions in and Around Philadelphia: Experience the iconic sights of Philadelphia

Temple University Beasley School of Law & The Center for American Language and Culture – Located in the heart of Philadelphia, a city rich in legal history and home to leading law firms, courts, and corporate headquarters.

Cost & Fees

Total Price for the American Culture at Temple  Legal Track

The cost covers tuition, fees, housing, materials, ground transportation, regional trips, and activities. Note that airfare, visa fees, personal expenses, and meals (a Meal Plan is available for an additional $300 for 25 meals) are not included.
