On Saturday, June 13, 2026, the Law Library at Temple University Beasley School of Law will host a livestream of TED Democracy Philadelphia: Founding Futures, a daylong symposium featuring 15+ original TED Talks focused on the future of democracy. Streaming live from Philadelphia leading up to America’s 250th birthday celebrations, this landmark event convenes bold thinkers and civic leaders to share ideas and solutions designed to inform and inspire.

Through a collaboration with Visit Philadelphia and the American Library Association, and sponsored by The Pew Charitable Trusts, libraries across the country are hosting satellite livestream events — expanding access to these critical conversations and fostering local engagement nationwide.

We’re proud to serve as a host site and bring this important civic moment to our local community. Refreshments will be provided – so that we can accurately estimate attendance, please register below.

SESSION TIMES

Please join Temple Law for livestream sessions featuring 15+ original TED Talks across three sessions focused on the future of democracy. With registration, you are welcome to attend any or all sessions that your schedule allows.

Session 1 will be from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Session 2 will be from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Session 3 will be from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
