The Honorable John F. Murphy
United States District Court Judge, Eastern District of Pennsylvania
John F. Murphy is a Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Before being appointed to the court in 2022, Judge Murphy was an IP litigation partner at BakerHostetler in Philadelphia, where he focused on patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret and other intellectual property disputes. He teaches patent litigation and strategy as an adjunct professor at Villanova Law School and Rutgers Law School. Judge Murphy is co-author of the fifth edition of Patent Litigation and Strategy (West 2017) along with Federal Circuit Chief Judge Kimberly A. Moore and Professor Timothy Holbrook. Judge Murphy also clerked for Chief Judge Moore. He attended Harvard Law School, where he was editor-in-chief of the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology. Before that, he obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Caltech and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.

Lisa Bollinger Gehman

Lisa Bollinger Gehman is a senior intellectual property associate in Baker Hostetler’s Philadelphia office, where she focuses her practice on trademarks and copyrights. Alexandra joined JKJ in 2015 after six years in IT Consulting at Ernst & Young and a boutique telecom consulting firm. Diane Siegel Danoff

Diane Siegel Danoff is a nationally recognized litigation partner in the Intellectual Property Group of Dechert LLP, based in Philadelphia. She has extensive litigation experience, developed during her 35 years of practice, with trade secret, non-compete, trademark, patent, copyright, unfair advertising, and invasion of privacy matters. Meghan S. Farally, Esquire

Meghan S. Farally is a partner in Cipriani & Werner’s Philadelphia office and focuses her practice on cyber security and data privacy matters. Meghan advises her clients in order to prepare them for, and help them respond to, data security incidents. She assists clients through all aspects of an incident response, including the initial investigation and identification of legal duties, as well as ensuring compliance with any obligations the incident may impose pursuant to contract, state and/or federal law. Lesley McCall Grossberg is a partner in Ice Miller’s Philadelphia office, where she practices trademark, copyright and patent litigation, and trademark counseling and prosecution. She is an adjunct professor of law at Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she teaches Trademarks and Unfair Competition. Steven M. Levy

Steven M. Levy, Esq. is President of Accent Law Group, Inc., based in Philadelphia. In his 36 years of practice, Steve’s intellectual property experience has been quite broad, but he has a particular focus on the enforcement of trademarks against domain names and social media user names and other online abuses. Steve has filed over 600 domain name complaints under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy(UDRP) and other domain name dispute arbitration policies. Although now largely retired from his law practice, he continues to serve as a panelist for the FORUM, the Czech Arbitration Court (CAC), theCanadian International Internet Dispute Resolution Centre (CIIDRC), and the Asian Domain Name DisputeResolution Centre (ADNDRC) and has decided over 450 cases under the UDRP and the .us and the .caccTLD dispute policies. Jason is an active member of ICANN working groups focused on rights protection mechanisms. As part of his ICANN work, Jason architected the contention resolution among 8 parties to allow DotMusic Ltd. to obtain the right to run what will hopefully become a“game changer”–a safe, trusted, community based TLD for .MUSIC. Jason’s work included managing technical teams, developing policy and strategy, and working with music industry stakeholders (like the RIAA, Warner, Universal andA2IM) to create the first TLD with IP safeguards where registrants are verified, and music can be sold, shared, and distributed in a manner that benefits the creators, protecting their brand and intellectual property. Complementing hundreds of successful UDRP defenses, Jason has obtained a significant number of Reverse Domain Hijacking Decisions (RDNH). Jason also assists clients with trade mark matters and in recovering their domain names from theft or cybersquatters.
